EUFLEXXA is a gel-like, highly purified form of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural substance found in the body that helps cushion, lubricate, and protect joints. In patients with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee, this substance is thinner and less able to provide these protective properties. When EUFLEXXA is injected into the knee, it replenishes the HA, helping to provide long-lasting pain relief for up to 6 months and better movement of the knees.1-4

EUFLEXXA is used to relieve OA knee pain in people who do not get enough relief from simple pain medications such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or naproxen, or from exercise and physical therapy.

EUFLEXXA is a prescription-only injection therapy that is given by a doctor or other healthcare professional in a course of 3 injections—
1 injection a week for 3 weeks.1
